LABELS
This section will certainly grow..  These are scans of removed Pfeiffer labels.  Enjoy!

1902 - 1919: C. Pfeiffer Brewery Co. did not put labels on their bottles.

    1919 - 1933: Pfeiffer closed during Prohibition.

    1933 - 1951: "IRTP" era

"Famous Beer" - What makes this label interesting is that the beer is simply called "Famous Beer" rather than "Pfeiffer's Famous Beer."
"Pfeiffer Famous Beer Front" and "Back" - The back of this label has a little proverb and illustration!  A pack of 100 recently surfaced, so these may be less rare than they used to be.  Here is the back with a different proverb.
"Bock Beer" - This beer was only made for a limited time.  Very rare.  Variation #2.
Pfeiffer Famous Beer w. Johnny - This label is similar to the Famous Beer label above, but was produced after the introduction of Johnny Pfeiffer.

    1951 - 1960's

"IRTP Jumbo Quart" - Probably mid to late 50's label.  This is the label that Homepage.com used when they picked us as Site of the Week.
"Extra Special Beer" - A very rare label from a bottle of Pfeiffer Extra Special Beer.
"Tear Shaped Pfeiffer" - Assorted White Tear Shaped labels from Pfeiffer Premium Beer.  Here is a 12oz. version and one from a Quart bottle.  The logo used on these labels is my favorite.  New higher res. image added May 02, 2001.
"12 ounce Premium Ale" - These bottles are somewhat rare!  They are also one of the few examples of when Pfeiffer used different lettering.
"32 ounce Premium Ale" - Jumbo Sized Premium label.  Same beer as above, but with the traditional "Famous Beer"-type label.
"Gold with Brewery" - Similar to the G. Heileman Labels, but from Detroit!  This pic shows several different sizes.
"Associated G.I.Q." - From Pfeiffer's Associated Brewery days, this is a Grand Imperial Quart (1 quart + 6.4 ounces).

    1970's - 1990's: G. Heilman era.

"The Famous 12" - From the G. Heileman Brewery.  Probably from the 70's or 80's.

"The Famous 32" - From the G. Heileman Brewery, 1990's.  This is the way I was introduced to Pfeiffer!  And unlike most collectors, I can honestly say I drank the beer that was behind this label!
