PRINT ART and PHOTOS
Photos contributed by Gary Bauer of www.mi-brew.com, The Manning Brother's Collection and the Automotive Collection of the Detroit Public Library.

"Caricature of Conrad Pfeiffer" - From the 1905 book "Our Michigan Friends As We See 'Em".  This book was a compilation of images of prominent Michigan men done by members of the Newspaper Cartoonists' Association of Michigan.  Compliments of www.mi-brew.com .
"1911 Delivery Truck" - From the Detroit Public Library, this photo shows an early delivery truck used by the C. Pfeiffer Brewing Co. to deliver beer locally to both pubs and people's homes.
"Conrad Pfeiffer" - This is the only known photo of Conrad Pfeiffer as found in the book "The City of Detroit, Michigan, 1701-1922, Volume III".  The book details various figures in the history of Detroit.  It was published in 1922 and interestingly enough, only casually mentions Pfeiffer's beer business.  This is due to the fact that it was published during Prohibition.
"1908 Postcard" - Here is a pre-Prohibition postcard of the C. Pfeiffer Brewing Company postmarked 1908.  It advertises for the new brewery.  This is the same building that graced many of the Pfeiffer bottles and cans.  Compliments of www.mi-brew.com.
"Pfeiffer Blimp" - Here is a rare photo of a Pfeiffer Blimp.  This item was fought over by both Pfeiffer and airship fans alike.  Compliments of www.mi-brew.com.

"1940's Delivery Truck" - A common type of truck used in the 1940's is shown here delivering some cases in Detroit.

WORKER PHOTOS
Photos contributed by David Graham from the collection of Carl Reichert.  If anyone can identify anyone in these photos, please email me.

"One Millionth Barrel" - This photo was most likely taken in 1948 celebrating Pfeiffer's One Millionth Barrel to be produced.  Second from the left, wearing a cap, is Carl Reichert who later bacame Pfeiffer's brewmaster.

"Carl Reichert" - Carl Reichert (1899-1993) standing among the kettles at the Pfeiffer Brewery in Detroit.  Mr. Reichert served as brewmaster from the 1950's until he retired in the 1970's.  More info on Mr. Reichert is coming soon to the History Section.
